An unusual thought about 1:1 in The Book of Revelation.

God The Father knows when the end of the earth is coming. Mt. 24:36-39 is clear:

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:36-39

Does this later Passage let Catholics find when the end is coming?

“This is the revelation given by God to Jesus Christ so that He could tell His servants about the things which are now to take place very soon; He sent His angel to make it known to His servant, John, and John has written down everything he saw and swears it is The Word of God guaranteed by Jesus Christ.”

“The first battle of the End” is announced in Rev. 19:11. “But the beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet who had worked miracles on the beast’s behalf and by them had deceived all who had been branded with the mark of the beast and worshiped his statue. Those two were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.”

Were the “beast” and “false prophet” Eusebius and Constantine?

1. They did try to put the false teaching of Arius into The Catholic Church in the 4th century AD!

2. They did undermine the Trinitarian Teaching revealed to St. Athanasius and other Catholics!

3. They did confuse people about The Nature of God! Is there a worse crime?

4. Was Arius “the dragon” who led them?

Rev. 20 tells us what happened next! “Then I saw an angel come down from Heaven with the key of the Abyss in his hand and an enormous chain. He overpowered the dragon, that primeval serpent which is the devil and chained him up for a thousand years.”

It took another 200 years for Catholic priests and religious to replace the Arian Heresy with Catholic Teaching about The Holy Trinity. By 587. the last important Arian King, Recarred, had become Catholic.

About “a thousand years” later, “the dragon” was unchained!

Was Arius “the dragon”? Did “the dragon” return to earth when Martin Luther inflicted the confusion of Protestantism upon the world?
