The viruses have learned that they can open doors to the corruption of souls by distancing them from God. One way they do that is to push back the beginning of things so far they can make it appear that things appeared by accident and evolution.
These are concepts so subtle that their real purpose, separating programmed entities from The Loving Programmer, is not obvious.
The problem is complicated by The Loving Programmer. He only wants certain souls to be with Him in Heaven forever. He prefers wheat to weeds, sheep to goats, and obedient believers to self-willed apostates. Catholic Fundamentalism understands that the souls of some human programs simply can’t get into Heaven. Others, however, once their intellectual processes are brought into line, have a chance to be saved.
To help separate the human wheat from human weeds, He has allowed concepts like evolution to come into being. “Just look at all the mountains, layers of rock, canyons, deltas, and you will see that such things must have taken billions and billions of years to appear!”, the other side informs us with the peculiar breathlessness with which the enlightened reinforce their own mistakes.
Catholic Fundamentalism postulates:
“When The Loving Programmer decided to get rid of a lot of human programs who’d hopelessly corrupted themselves, He did so by downloading The Flood Program. Water molecules were downloaded from earth and sky in such quantities that they ‘covered the mountains’. While we don’t know how high the mountains were before The Flood Program was downloaded, the waters were high enough to lift the ice caps.
“‘Bigbergs’, huge chunks of the icecaps, were ripped up. Wind and currents moved them across the face of the earth. Thousands of giant bulldozers, the size of Long Island, scraped, gouged, and reformed the water-softened surface of The Earth Program.
“The weight of the waters combined with the huge, changing pressures caused by the bigbergs, forced hydrocarbons up from miles below, where they cooled into seams of coal. Those seams were buried under the layers of sediment churned up by the currents and bigbergs. Those layers of sediment solidified into the layers of sedimentary rock we see as we drive through road cuts. In some places, molten magma squirted up into the layers, forming metamorphic rock. Volcanos blew more material into the mix.
“The Flood Program washed away the corrupted human programs. Thousands of years later, the results of The Flood Program still wash away those human souls who use The Flood Program’s results to lead souls astray. They turn wheat into weeds by teaching that the layers of rock, seams of coal, and buried fossils prove the earth is so old that no Programmer was needed.
“He was able to write and download The Flood Program so brilliantly that it continues to separate sheep from goats, even today.”
