Why is St. Paul’s Letter to The Galatians important to every person on earth? Answer: You and I, and billions of people on earth are fully or partly descended from Gauls and other Tribes of Celts who seized Europe, nearly 3,000 years ago when waves from “The Sea of Galilee” began to roll around the world.

Catholics know: History began 13 to 15 trillion light years ago:
That is when God began to Download His Creation Program by saying “Let there be light.” History continued until He wrote and downloaded His First Somewhat-human Programs, some of whom are known as “Neanderthals” and, later, “Cro-Magnons”. His Human Program was updated with Adam and Eve, His final “Replicating Free Will Programs made in the image of God”.
Then, God made His First Bible Prophecy, Genesis 3-15, with The Words He Spoke directly to the devil: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.”

Catholic History:
Catholic History begins with Abraham’s Family. In 1,800 BC, his family moved to Israel. Then, God had famine force them to Egypt where they could safely grow and multiply while strengthening their Abrahamic unity. For the first years, they were protected by Joseph. In 1,300 BC, God had Moses lead The Twelve Tribes out of Egypt and into the lands God had given them.
With God’s help, they multiplied. As 25 succeeding generations quickly and continually ran out of space in their villages, towns, and cities in the next five or six centuries, many millions of families moved into new areas of Europe and the Middle East. Many Teachings of Moses remained a basic part of their traditions and laws. By 720 BC, the Assyrians under Shalmaneser V conquered areas of Northern Israel still occupied byTribes of Reuben, Gad, Manasseh, and others who remained there. The conquered lands included Galilee, Gilead, and Gaulen. Many of those remaining were taken captive from the Ten Tribes in The Northern Kingdom of Israel around 722 BC by Shalmaneser V. Assyrian records report: “27,290 were taken from the City of Samaria”, only one of many areas supplying “occupying troops” who would be loyal and helpful to the Assyrians.
Those Northern Tribes grew and spread out from dozens, then hundreds, then thousands and tens of thousands of hilltop forts, villages, towns and cities. They had enough words, laws, teachings, and DNA in common that, 200 years later, Hecataeus of Miletus used one word, “keltoi”, to describe what would become over 600 Celtic Tribes in 700 years.
Julius Caesar reduced the vast horde of Celtic Tribes to manageable numbers by simply saying, “All Gaul is divided into three parts”. The nation he identified as “Gaul” that he and his Roman Legions invaded stretched South from Belgium and past the Pyrenees. From East to West, it reached from Ireland to Wales and England, up the Rhine, across the Alps, and down the Danube to the Black Sea. St. Paul wrote his “Letter to The Galatians” specifically to the “Gauls of Galatia” on the western edge of the Celtic Empire.
They spoke an early version of The French Language. St. Jerome, the great linguist who finished compiling The Bible at the behest of Pope Damasus in 405 AD, (A simple rhyme to remember: “In four zero five / The Bible came alive!”) recognized the French origin of their language when he passed through Galatia in what is today, central Turkey.
The History of The Gauls from Galilee is more interesting than many realize. The name “Gaul” may have originated from “The Sea of Galilee” where Ten Northern Tribes of Israel lived before rolling into Europe as increasing numbers of them forced continual migrations. Those Tribes were scattered throughout The Assyrian Empire, a small part of which is still named “Syria” in remembrance of Shalmaneser’s vast Kingdom. Assyrian rulers used many of the Ten Tribes of Hebrew people to help them maintain control of areas within their vast empire.

History in The East:
~
Those Ten Tribes grew in strength as people and traders spread their understanding of God’s Word to Abraham throughout Pakistan, Ceylon (Sri Lanka), India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, the Easternmost Land frontiers of The Celtic Empire. Countless millions of Catholics live in those nations today. Jewish traders carried God’s Word to The Philippine Islands so effectively that virtually all their people would build upon it and become Catholics when the first Catholic Missionaries began to visit. A few Jewish priests may have worn the phylacteries on their foreheads all the way to Japan, where they named the great “Mount Moriah”. Many things in the East have no other explanation in History than Abraham’s Word having been taken there.

Returning to History in The West:
~
A generation or so after 1,300 BC, many of the early Hebrew Tribes began spreading by land and sea throughout Europe and were known as Keltae (Celts). Celtic Gaels, Galatae, Galatians, Gauls, Geltae, and Goidels, along with descendants of the other Ten Northern Tribes. They captured entire nations as quickly as their rapidly multiplying descendants, including Goths, Germans, Normans, Slavs, Franks, Poles, Lombards, Alans, and others would later take control of North and South America, Australia, Africa, and trading centers throughout Asia as waves from “The Sea of Galilee” carried migrant surfers around the world. Many began migrating farther West, reaching Ireland and conquering tribe after tribe of “Stonehenge builders” in Central and Western Europe in the process.
They used “new military technologies”, against the peoples they defeated by putting soldiers on horses and behind chariots with iron (soon to be steel) swords, spears, and arrowheads. Their beloved families went along with them in covered wagons drawn by horses.
History repeats itself! Gaelic descendants used covered wagons drawn by horses and oxen to settle lands in North America after renegade Catholics (Establishment Episcopalians) had “lapsed” from “Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.” and exterminated tribes of Native Americans with their awful, anti-Christian lie: “The only good Indian is a dead Indian.”
Four centuries after Shalmaneser, in 278 BC, some Western Gauls headed back East. They seized and settled their “Latest Galatia” in central Turkey. That is where St. Paul led many “Galatians” to The One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Spoken into Being by This Word of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.
As we read The Book of Galatians, we may remember that The “Gauls of Galatia” have a far more interesting History than is immediately apparent, many descended from Reuben, Gad, Manasseh, and other Northern Tribes as The Sea of Galilee spread around The World.
One thought in our mind explains the speed of the Celtic/Gaulish takeover of Europe from Scandinavia to Spain: the European descendants of Celts, Gauls, and related Tribes took over the entirety of North and South America, Australia, and much of Africa in less than 200 years after they came ashore and did in the “New World” what they had done in the Old World.
What let them do that? They were smart enough to invent and use new ways to replace boring people and products. The more obedient they were to God, the better they did. God was at the heart of the success they had in bringing Native People to God.
For 2,000 of the past 4,000 years, Catholics, “The Chosen People of The Chosen People” , have been blessed with The Faith to take The Prophets seriously, beginning with God’s Prophecy to the devil in Genesis 3:15: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.”
“The Chosen People of The Chosen People” are those who meaningfully obey The Prophets. Catholics began to follow He Who Fulfilled God’s Prophecies by being “born to a Virgin of The House of David in the tiny village of Bethlehem”. More Prophecies were fulfilled when Jesus Christ was “nailed to a tree”, “lifted up before men”, and was “looked upon by those who had pierced Him.” “The Chosen People of The Chosen People” were blessed to obey The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled over 300 Prophecies, The Son of God, The Second Person of The Holy Trinity, to His First Catholic Pope who would rule “The Kingdom of God on earth”: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
With That Word of Jesus, 13-15 trillion light years of History was fulfilled in a Universe God made so old and so huge (30 trillion light years from side to side!) that no one could ever see an end to His Creative Power. We cannot even begin to see how the 28-38 trillion cells in our own bodies can work together so effectively that God’s Creation becomes part of us with all we see, hear, feel, and smell! Despite Creation’s carefully calculated complexity, The Chosen People of The Chosen People are blessed to use our Free Will to be in His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. May all be blessed with similar respect for over 300 Bible Prophecies predicting The Coming of The One Man Who fulfilled them: Jesus Christ. This Introduction to The Book of Galatians ends with three new and unusual questions:
1. Was Pontius Pilate one of the world’s First Catholics because he was blessed to put a sign atop Christ’s Cross that read in Greek, Latin, and Aramaic: “Jesus of Nazareth (is) The King of The Jews”?
2. Was Pontius Pilate one of the World’s first Catholics because he forced everyone who loved the things of God’s Creation more than they loved God to identify The Eternal Fate of All Lost Souls who would publicly proclaim for the next 2,000 years: “We have no King but Caesar!”
3. Or, was Pontius Pilate one of the World’s’s First Catholics because he let God put final fulfillment to His first Prophecy: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.”
It’s worth being a Catholic and getting “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” just to be able to find the answer to Those Questions!
