Bottom line: Who doesn’t get to Heaven.

Every human who hears about Heaven and Hell wants to go to Heaven. It is clear that simply wanting to get into Heaven is not enough to guarantee entry.

We want to know if we will get into Heaven. The last line in the Bible before the brief Epilogue, sums it up. Bottom line: Who doesn’t get to Heaven.

Revelation 22: 15 is clear. “These others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tellers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolators, and everyone of false speech and false life.”

Dogs: There are 40 references to “dogs” in Scripture. They are not complimentary, usually groups of them devouring, often insatiably. Aside from licking Lazzrus’ sores, they are rarely doing anything useful.

Fortune-tellers: They are scorned in every Biblical passage relating to them.

Fornicators: Sex outside of lawful marriage is fornication. That includes masturbation. It also includes “looking with lustful intent”. Those who have, or fantasize, about sex outside of a lawful marriage are also fornicators. Best to shun it, and pass that part of the test.

Murderers: Those who kill must stay outside. This includes those who support abortion and artificial birth control that causes the tiniest of unborn babies to die.

Idolators: Those who worship money, sex, power, or anything more than God.

Everyone of false speech and false life: They choose lies over truth. This includes any who lead the unknowing away from the truth and life that can only be obtained in The Only Church Jesus Founded. There, we find the only access to what Jesus said we needed: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.” All who disagree with that clear, simple sentence have embraced false speech and false life.

Bottom line: Who doesn’t get to Heaven. We do have free will. We can all make it, if we choose to believe and obey sufficiently. Safest way? By striving to worthily receive The Sacraments in The Church Jesus Founded.
