Today’s Catholic Reading shows why many who are blessed to be “Fundamentalists” often become Catholic! Leviticus 19:1-2, 11-18 begins with Words of God that Fundamentalists strive to obey: “The LORD said to Moses, ‘Speak to the whole assembly of the children of Israel and tell them: Be holy, for I, the LORD, your God, am holy. You shall not steal… lie or speak falsely to one another. You shall not swear falsely by my name, thus profaning the name of your God.
I am the LORD. “You shall not defraud or rob your neighbor… withhold overnight the wages of your day laborer… curse the deaf, or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but you shall fear your God. I am the LORD.
…You shall not go about spreading slander among your kin; nor shall you stand by idly when your neighbor’s life is at stake (Catholics are Pro-Life from conception until natural death!). I am the LORD… Take no revenge and cherish no grudge against your fellow countrymen. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.”
Fundamentalists strive to obey those Words of God because Psalm 19:8-10, 19 explains: “Your Words, Lord, are Spirit and life.” That leads them to pray: “Let the words of my mouth and the thought of my heart find favor before You, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.”
Fundamentalists are blessed to know that Jesus is “my rock and my redeemer”. That is a “Hidden Prophecy” of the only Church-Creating Word that Jesus Spoke to His First Catholic Pope and Successors, His “redeeming rock” on earth for the last 2,000 years: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Sadly, many let themselves be led to follow those who insist: “I know more than Jesus about where to find ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’. We do not need the Seven Catholic Sacraments that were Prophesied to ‘redeem’ us.”
May all be blessed to honor the Words of Jesus in Mt. 25:31:46: “Jesus said to His disciples, ‘When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit upon His glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before Him. And He will separate them, one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.'”
Every Fundamentalist is blessed with the ability to understand: Catholics are blessed to most obediently follow “the Good Shepherd” in our days on earth by gratefully accepting His “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus gives to those blessed to choose to be among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”
