Catholics admit when they’ve done something stupid.

.                                                        Catholics know what do to after we do something stupid!

~

Question 1:  “Did you just find that you did something stupid?”

Answer:  “I have been a Catholic for 40 years.  Today’s Reading told me that I did something stupid!”‘

~

Question 2:  “What is in Today’s Reading that made you feel stupid?”

Answer:  “It includes Matthew 5:17-19.   ‘Jesus said to his disciples:  ‘Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.  I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.  Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.’

~

Question 3:  “What did you do that was stupid?”

Answer:  “I was too stupid to see that This Next Word of Jesus describes the fate of every Willful Protestant!  ‘Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these (God’s!) commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.  But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.’

~

Question 5:  “What ‘commandment’ of Jesus does every Willful Protestant break?”

Answer:  “Every Word of Jesus Christ is a ‘commandment’.  Jesus Christ Spoke One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church Into Being with ‘This Commandment’ ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.  What you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven and what you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.’

I was too stupid to realize how obvious it is that every Willful Protestant chooses to ‘break’ the ‘commandment’ of Jesus that would ‘fulfill the law and the prophets’.”

Question 6:   “I can see why you feel so stupid!  You could have helped some immortal soul to not be ‘least in the Kingdom of Heaven’.  What will you do?”

Answer:   “I think I have to go to Confession and hope to receive Absolution from a Catholic priest!  They are the only people on earth given That Power by This Word of Jesus Christ:  ‘Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

May God save us all from being among those who are ‘least in The Kingdom of Heaven’!”
