Catholics answer: “Which is the most powerful demon in any human mind?” #23.

Why is there a “red river” in the lower corner of this painting?  It takes souls from God’s left hand into “the eternal fires of hell”.  It is described in Mt. 25:41.

Question 1:  “What is the most powerful demon in every human mind?”

Answer:  “There are seven tribes of demons: pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.  The most powerful demons are in the tribe of pride.”

~

Question 2:  “What do demons in the tribe of pride tell people to believe?”

Answer:  “Demons of pride take form in our mind with this thought:  ‘You know more than God about what is best for you.'”

~

Question 3:  “What do people do when a demon of pride tells them that?”

Answer:  “Everyone wants to believe that!  Many people proudly tell themselves:  ‘I do know more than God about what is best for me.’

~

Question 4:  “What are the results of being guided by that self-serving word?”

Answer: “There are six other tribes of demons, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth.  Pride opens the door and they come swarming into the mind.'”

~

Question 5:  “What happens when large groups of people are influenced by those demons?”

Answer:  “Groups of like-minded people gather.  They form political parties and other groups.  Every demon tells them:  ‘Take as much as you can from your neighbors!’

~

Question 6:  “Why is every group of demonized people at war with God and their neighbors?”

Answer:  “There may be a ‘judgment seat’ in hell.  Lost souls are examined.  The demon who is given credit for the the sin that led the soul to hell gets to torture it forever.”

~

Question 7:  “Do the demons fight among themselves to get possession of every lost soul?”

Answer:  “There is no end to the anger in hell.”

~

Question 8:  “How do Catholics keep demons from leading our souls to hell?”

Answer:  “We meaningfully understand that Every Word of Jesus Christ Is Truth!  So, we are in The Only Church He Spoke Into Being with His Church-Creating Word:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Catholics are in the Only Church against which ‘the gates (which include demons) of hell shall not prevail.’  Church Teachings, plus The Seven Catholic Sacraments, bless us to get ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’.”
