Daniel 9:4-1 is a Prophecy of what happens to people, families, and nations whose lives and souls are headed for destruction: “We have sinned, been wicked and done evil; we have rebelled and departed from Your commandments and Your laws. We have not obeyed Your servants, the Prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our princes, our fathers, and all the people of the land.”
All were disobeying the earlier teaching of Moses in Leviticus 19:9-18, which taught believers to “Love God and your neighbor as yourself.” That was repeated by He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies in Luke 10:27, Matthew 36:50, and Mark 12:31.
That Teaching is a Prophecy. Every person and group who loves themselves more than their neighbors does not end up in a good place in The Loving Programmer’s Creation Program!
Psalm 79: 8,9,11,31 tells us how to avoid the danger of that “Sin of Sins” by pleading: “Lord, do not deal with us according to our sins… Deliver us and pardon our sins for Your Name’s sake… with your great power, free those doomed to death, through all generations, we will declare Your praise.”
John 6:63 & 68 tells us how to “declare our praise” by recognizing that: “Your Words, Lord, are Spirit and life; You have the words of everlasting life.” That is a Prophecy of Catholic Communion, which provides The Body and Blood of Jesus from Catholic priests ordained in The Church-Creating Word of Jesus (“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” to His First Catholic Pope 2,000 years ago.) by God’s Catholic Miracle of Transubstantiation:
Luke 6:36-38 is a Prophecy of those whose souls will be saved by obeying the Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
Today’s Gospel from Luke 6:36-38 has Jesus “downloading” the Prophetic words of Moses and Daniel into our minds that remind us to “Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.” when He taught:
“Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Stop judging, and you will not be judged. Stop condemning, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.”
That is a Prophecy telling us to Be As Catholic As We Can!
