Catholics are grateful to our shepherds.

Jesus told us of the only place He left “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

With His Word, Jesus Christ empowered Catholic priests to provide “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”.

Catholic priests are Ordained by men who were Ordained by men who were Ordained by men who were Ordained by men who were Ordained two thousand years ago by Jesus Christ, The Second Person of The Holy Trinity.

History and Logic tell us that.

Catholics are blessed to understand the simple truth. The only way we may get into Heaven is to be among:

“You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics are blessed. We try to be among Christ’s obedient sheep.

The difference between a Catholic and a Catholic priest is clear. We are sheep. Catholic priests are our shepherds.

A Catholic priest outranks us all because they more fully obey: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholic priests obey Jesus with their lives.

Temptations lead many to disobey Jesus. Jesus knew that. He loved us so much that He gave Catholic priests two of many powers.

1. They may preside over The Miracle of Transubstantiation. Our shepherds provide Christ’s obedient sheep with The Body and Blood of Jesus at every Catholic Mass that followed The Last Supper. They allow us to obey “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.” Jesus did repeat that instruction 14 times!

2. Catholic priests provide us with Absolution. Jesus gave them this authority: “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

2,000 years ago, early Protestants used the disobedience of 1/12th of Christ’s Apostles to justify not being Catholic.

Today, many Protestants use the disobedience of 1 or 2/100s of His priests to justify not being Catholic.

Thus do disobedient goats separate themselves from His obedient sheep.
