The last “Command” of King David in 1 Kings 2: 1-12 leads Catholics to This Command of our King, Jesus Christ!

Question 1: “What ‘Commands’ from God do Catholics have to guide us through every month of our lives?”
Answer: “King David gave This Command to his son, Solomon: ‘When the time of David’s death drew near, he gave these instructions to his son Solomon: I am going the way of all flesh. Take courage and be a man.’”

Question 2: “What is every ‘person’ with ‘courage’ commanded to do?”
Answer: “‘Obey the orders of The Lord, your God, following His ways and observing His statutes, commands, ordinances, and decrees as they are written in the law of Moses so that you may succeed in whatever you do, wherever you turn, . . .”

Question 3: “Will following that ‘command’ let God help us?”
Answer: “‘and The Lord may fulfill the promise He made on my behalf when He said,
‘If your sons so conduct themselves that they remain faithful to Me with their whole heart
and with their whole soul, you shall always have someone of your line on The Throne of Israel.’”

Question 4: “Did the disobedience of Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, keep him from sitting ‘on the throne of Israel’?”
Answer: “God’s Word came true! Greedy people convinced Solomon’s son to raise taxes to get money for them! That drove the Ten Tribes of Israel away. Rehoboam no longer sat upon ‘the throne of Israel’.”

Qiuestion 5: “Who would sit upon ‘The Throne of Israel’?”
Answer: “God’s Son, Jesus Christ, became ‘King’ of all who would ‘Keep the mandate of The Lord, your God, following His ways and observing His statutes, commands, ordinances, and decrees, . . .’ Jesus Christ would ‘sit upon the throne of Israel’!”

Question 6: “Did God relocate ‘the throne of Israel‘ to Heaven, where Jesus sits at ‘the right hand of The Father’?”
Answer: “That is where Jesus, Son of David, sits in glory! For 2,000 years He ruled every ‘Tribe’ in His ‘Kingdom of Catholics’ through Successors to Peter, the first person on earth He made ‘King of His Earthly Realm’. The ‘Earthly Realm’ of King Jesus is The Church He Spoke Into Being with His Word:
‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’”

Question 7: “What if we choose to not be Catholic?”
Answer: “Like Solomon’s willfully disobedient son, Rehoboam, we must live forever outside ‘The Kingdom of God’.”

All of us will go to The Judgment of King Jesus. May our immortal souls be judged to be forever among the only people we know are in Heaven: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”
