Question 1:  “Why is it important to count to 12?”

Answer:  “We see often the number ‘twelve’ occurs in this passage about Heaven in Rev. 21:9-14!:  ‘The Angel spoke to me, saying, ‘Come here.  I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.’  He took me in spirit to a great, high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.’

Question 2:  “How could God’s Angel show John what was going to happen in the future?”

Answer:  “God knows, and can show us, every happening in all of Time and Space.  He let St. John see that ‘The City of God ‘.  .  gleamed with the splendor of God.’

Question 3:  “What did ‘The City of God’ look like?”

Answer:  “‘Its radiance was like that of a precious stone, like jasper, clear as crystal. . .’

Question 4:  “Did God have the ‘wall of The City of God’ built out of ‘twelve kinds of precious stones?”

Answer:   “Yes.   Then, the number ‘twelve’ appears more times!   ‘It had a massive, high wall, with twelve gates where twelve angels were stationed and on which names were inscribed, the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.  There were three gates facing east, three north, three south, and three west.'”

Question 5:  “Where else does the number ‘twelve’ appear?

Answer:  “‘The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.’

Question 6:  “What were the twelve Apostles chosen to be?

Answer:  Catholics knowThe twelve ‘Apostles’ were the First Catholic Bishops.  They were Personally chosen and Ordained by Jesus Christ, Himself!  They founded Catholic Churches in cities where descendants of the Twelve Tribes lived.

Question 6:  “Does the number ‘twelve’ appear inside The City of God?”

Answer:   “Revelation 22:2  tells us that inside Heaven, there are ‘Trees of Life which bear twelve crops of fruit in a year, one in each month, and the leaves of which are the cure for the pagans.’

Question 7:  “Why are Catholics so interested in the number twelve?

Answer:  “The number twelve appears 187 times in The Bible.  Catholics Think Clearly enough to make Logical Progress from these twelve words!  ‘I believe in God, The Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth.’
