Catholics connect two Bible passages about a “mountain”!

Catholics connect two Bible passages about a “mountain”!

1. Isaiah 25:6-10. “On this mountain the LORD of hosts will provide for all peoples a feast of rich food and choice wines, juicy, rich food and pure, choice wines. On this mountain he will destroy the veil that veils all peoples, the web that is woven over all nations; he will destroy death forever.”

2. Revelation 21: 9-10. “‘Come here and I will show you the bride that the Lamb has married. In the spirit, he took me to the top of an enormous high mountain, and showed me Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down from God out of Heaven.”

The “mountain” means two things.

1. Spiritually, the “mountain” is the stack of Catholic Teachings summed up in The Catholic Catechism. It is a “mountain” that Catholics climb to find Catholic Teachings. They have been provided for 2,000 years by The Only Church Jesus Christ Spoke Into Being with His Holy Word!

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

The Catholic Catechism is the “mountain” that every obedient Catholic climbs. Our priests study The Catholic Catechism. They share the wisdom within it with us. God has chosen them to help us to obtain “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

2. Some Catholics see that the “mountain” is real in a physical sense. One mountain towers above all others! What is the tallest “enormous high mountain”? It is Mt. Everest.

~

Catholics know that the Nation of Nepal surrounds that “enormous high mountain”.

Catholica find there are many Catholics living in the land around Mt. Everest. On one Facebook Page, a Catholic site has nearly 200,000 “followers” in Nepal! There are over 80,000 Catholics in the City of Kathmandu, alone!

Catholics connect two Bible passages about a “mountain”! Then, we connect them to what is the “enormous high mountain”!

We connect that connection with Rev. 1:1 and “. . the things which are now to take place very soon; . .” (emphasis added)
