Who, or what is “the beast” in Revelation 13 :1? “Then, I saw a beast emerge from the sea: it had seven heads and ten horns with a coronet on each of its ten horns, and its heads were marked with blasphemous titles.”
The description continues: “I saw that the beast was like a leopard, with paws like a bear and a mouth like a lion; “
Obviously, “the beast” worked directly for “the dragon”!
“the dragon had handed over to it his own power and his throne and his worldwide authority.” “the beast” is every social, political, and economic power ordering willful disobedience to Every Word of Jesus Christ. “the beast” leads souls away from the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that Jesus Christ left on earth.
What did “the dragon” do next? “the dragon” concentrated his efforts on destroying The Catholic Church! ” . . . he went away to make war on the rest of her children, that is, all who obey God’s commandments and bear witness for Jesus.”

What, or who, is “the beast” in Revelation? It is the earthly source of all “the dragon’s” attacks on everyone who obeys This Word of Jesus Christ:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Seven powerful “heads” of states had grown from the “the beast”. It had “ten horns”, each with a “coronet”. A connection comes to mind. Henry VIII did the will of “the beast” by driving England out of The Only Church Jesus Founded. His head was crowned with a “coronet”.
His daughter also wore a “coronet”! Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I were one Catholic-hating “head” of state. That explains one instance of “ten horns” and “ten coronets” being on “seven heads”.

Catholics wonder! Did Martin Luther become an appearance of “the dragon” when he decided to “make war” against the Catholic Church?
Were Henry VIII and Elizabeth I two “horns” crowned with two “coronets” of “the beast” as they began 500 years of putting the armies and navies of armed Protestantism on “the sea” against All Things Catholic?
Those armies and navies were armed with intellectual skills developed by 1,500 years of Catholic mathematicians, metallurgists, manufacturers, and scientists. That knowledge was perverted by “the beast”. It was used for the personal gain of its followers.
Greed became gluttony. The process continues.
