Catholics may get “tired”, but we “stay awake” and are “bright” enough to keep moving closer to Jesus.

Question 1: “Did Jesus say that we needed ‘Holy Oil’ to get into Heaven?”
Answer: “In Mt 25:1-13, ‘Jesus told his disciples this parable: ‘The Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them, but the wise brought flasks of oil with their lamps.’”
The ‘wise’ were ‘bright enough’ to see and be seen by Jesus!”
~
Question 2: “What are those ‘flasks of oil’ that the ‘wise’ take with them to God’s Judgment Day?”
Answer: “The Seven Catholic Sacraments are God’s light-giving oil for the ‘lamp’ that is our soul! Baptism, Confession/Absolution, The Body and Blood of Jesus in Catholic Communion, Marriage, Anointing the Sick, Holy Orders, and Last Rites give Catholics the light for the ‘lamp’ that is our ‘soul’. Catholics are ‘bright enough’ to see the way to be seen by Jesus!”
~
Question 3: “What happens as we spend our lives ‘waiting for The Bridegroom’?”
Answer: “Even Catholics get tired! ‘Since the bridegroom was long delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.’”
~
Question 4: “Do we know when our Judgment Day is coming?”
Answer: “Jesus tells us it comes at the darkest time! ‘At midnight, there was a cry, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’”
~
Question 5: “What happens when we hear that ‘cry’?”
Answer: “Everyone does the same thing! ‘Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.’ They wanted to be sure their soul would provide the light to find their way to the ‘door to The Kingdom of Heaven’.”
~
Question 6: “At that point in our life, do even the most ‘foolish’ people realize that a ‘well-trimmed lamp’ is useless without oil?”
Answer: “Even the most Willful Protestants are ‘bright enough’ to see that! ‘The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’”
~
Question 6: “Do Catholics who Think Clearly give them their oil?”
Answer: “No! Catholics know that each person has to get their own ‘oil’! That is why: ‘But the wise ones replied, ‘No, for there may not be enough for us and you. Go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’”
~
Question 7: “What happened when the ‘foolish ones’ went off to do what was necessary to shine brightly enough to light their way into ‘The Kingdom of Heaven’?”
Answer: “‘While they went off to buy it, the bridegroom came and those who were ready went into the wedding feast with Him. Then the door (to The Kingdom of Heaven) was locked.’“.
~
Question 8: “What did the ‘foolish ones’ do?”
Answer: “‘Afterwards the other virgins came and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us!’”
~
Question 9: “Did Jesus open The Door to The Kingdom of Heaven for them?”
Answer: “‘But He said in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.’”
~
Question 10: “What is the first thing Catholics do to get His ‘keys to open Heaven’s Door’?”
Answer: “We obey This Word of Jesus no matter how ‘tired’ we get! ‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’
We stay Catholic because we know we must: ‘Therefore, stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.’ ”

May all be blessed to Think Clearly, be Catholic, burn God’s ‘holy oil’ in our lamp (soul), and be ‘bright enough’ to let Jesus see that we are on the way to Heaven that Jesus died to let us enter.
