Catholics have help in Heaven.   John 17: 4-9 includes  “Jesus raised his eyes to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come.  Give glory to your son, so that your son may glorify you, just as you gave him authority over all people, so that your son may give eternal life to all you gave him.”

Jesus is clear.  “eternal life” goes only to those whom God gave to Jesus.  “Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.”

He again separates sheep from goats:  “I revealed your name to those whom you gave me out of the world.  They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.”  Obedient Catholics accept the undeniable:  God’s “word” includes the clear call to Catholic Communion Jesus repeated fourteen times:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

His chosen are identified:  “. . . the words you gave to me I have given to them, and they accepted them and truly understood that I came from you, and they have believed that you sent me.”

Only those who “accepted” His words are saved.   His Great Winnowing is made plain with His prayer for those chosen to obey His instructions and respect The Only Church He Founded:   “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me . . ”

He does not “pray for the world”.  He only prays for “the ones you have given me. .”   So, Catholics have help in Heaven.

Those who knowingly refuse to obey His words to Peter, “Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” are not able to obey:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”
