Catholics know: God loves life!

Catholics know: God loves life! Luke 1: 13-18 tells us that.

“Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John. . . . He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb, and he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.”

That Prophesy was Fulfilled. John the Baptist did “turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord, their God.”

+

The Prophesy continued. “He (John) will go before Him (Jesus) in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of fathers toward children and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to prepare a people fit for the Lord.”

+

Jesus, Himself, affirmed John’s Teaching. Luke, 7:28. “I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

Jesus also reinforced The Credibility of John the Baptist. Matt. 11:13-14. “For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to accept it, John himself is Elijah who was to come.”

+

Now, John had been asked directly if he was Elijah. It was not his place to say so. So, he did not. It was God’s place to say so, and He did!

+

The Credibility provided by Jesus tells us that God and His Prophet love life! “turn the hearts of fathers toward children” is Pro-Life.

Those who do not “Love Life” refuse to follow this Catholic Teaching: “Life must be protected from conception until natural death.”

The Profiteers of Protestantism do not “Love Life”. They reject that “understanding of the righteous”. They choose to be un-“righteous”!

+

Protestants avoid an honest answer to two hard questions.

1. “The smallest unborn children are no bigger than a grain of salt. Each of us was once that tiny. I support a denomination that does not protect their lives from pills and implants. Has ‘my heart’ been ‘turned toward children’?”

2. If I choose to not be among “the righteous”, will my soul be allowed into Heaven?”
