Catholics know! “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.”

.                          Why do Catholics obey God?  We know:  “God opposes the proud but bestows favor on the humble.”

The simple fact:  Jesus chose one person on earth to be in charge of The Church HE Spoke Into Being with HIS Holy Word:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

Question 1:   “Why are Catholics the only people who are ‘humble’ enough to be in The Only Church led by Successors to Peter for 2,000 years?”

.

Answer:  “Catholics don’t just read The Bible!  We strive to obey Every Word of Jesus in The Bible.   Peter told us, in 1 Peter 5:5-14, what those who are ‘Beloved’ by God must do.  ‘Beloved:  Clothe yourselves with humility in your dealings with one another,  for God opposes the proud but bestows favor on the humble.’

Question 2:  “Is it possible for anyone who willfully disobeys The Church-Founding Decree of Jesus to be among ‘the humble’ on whom God ‘bestows favor.’?”
.
Answer:  “Every ‘proud’ person believes they know more than Jesus Christ about that!”
~
Question 4:   “What do Catholics do to let God see that we strive to be among His ‘favored’ and ‘humble’ people?”
.
Answer:   “Peter, and his Successors for 2,000 years, have told the world to ‘Be Catholic’.    We are among those who ‘So humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.’
~
Question 5:   “We all have problems in our life.  Does being Catholic help us solve our problems?”
.
Answer:  “This Word from God though St. Peter tells Catholics how to solve every problem!  ‘Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.’
~
Question 6:  “What if we choose to disobey That, or Any Teaching, in The Bible?”
.

Answer:  “We cannot sanely expect that we can be ‘favored’ by God if we are too ‘proud’ to be among the ‘humble’.”
