Question 1:  “Where does The Bible let us make the connection between Abraham, Sarah, and Mary, The Mother of God?”

Answer:  “Today’s Reading from Gal 4:22-31 and 5:1 tells us Abraham’s wife, Sarah, was a ‘freeborn woman’ who chose to serve God.  The Blessed Virgin Mary was also a ‘freeborn woman’.  She chose to serve God by bringing Jesus to earth in the Prophesied Village of Bethlehem.  The Catholic Faith came to earth because two ‘freeborn women’ chose to serve God.”

Question 2:  “What does Galatians teach about the other kind of woman?”

Answer:  “‘These women represent two covenants:  One was from Mount Sinai, bearing children for slavery:  This is Hagar.’

~

Question 3:  “Which ‘woman’ does Sarah ‘represent’?”

Answer:  “St. Paul explains to Catholics in Galatia and the world:  ‘Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are children not of the slave woman but of the freeborn woman.’

~

Question 4: “How does Sarah connect with The Blessed Virgin Mary?”

Answer:  “Only Catholics fully recognize that Mary was conceived without Original Sin in Her Immaculate Conception.  Mary is the most perfectly ‘freeborn woman’ because She is ‘free’ from Original Sin.”

~

Question 5:  “What keeps some women from understanding that Mary was conceived without Original Sin?”

Answer:  “The ‘children of slavery’ are ‘enslaved’ by the vanity of believing:  ‘Mary could not be that much better than I am!’

~

Question 6:  “What is the result of that vanity?”

Answer:  “Those in ‘the covenant of slavery’ are not free to obey The Church-Creating Word of Mary’s Son to The First Catholic Pope:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’

Vanity leads those in ‘the covenant of slavery’ to reject what Jesus died to leave to Peter and his Successors:  ‘I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’.
