Catholics know! “My soul is my most precious possession!”

Rich people know! “I have valuable things in my house!” What do they do? Rich people spend a lot of effort protecting their possessions.

May rich and poor be blessed to think more clearly! Catholics know! “My soul is my most precious possession!” My brain is my house. My soul lives there! I must not let evil spirits steal my most precious possession!”

There are many rooms in our brain. Evil spirits want to get inside. Some are already there! They want us to lie, cheat, steal, and sin!

~

1. Catholics realize that evil spirits are real.

2, Evil spirits travel on tempting words, sounds, and images to get inside our brain.

3. When evil spirits get inside our brain, they lead us to disobey God.

4. Catholics realize that evil spirits want to devour our soul.

So, Catholics turn to Jesus Christ for advice!

~

Matthew 12:43-45 tells us what Jesus Christ said we should do to protect the “house” where our soul lives.

“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.”

~

Every “evil generation” wants people to let evil spirits take over more rooms in more brains! They want us to do two things.

1. Evil wants us to disobey Teachings of Jesus Christ.

2. Evil spirits hate for us to seek forgiveness from the Catholic priests of Jesus Christ! Of all the people on earth, they have This Power! “Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.” (John 20:23)

Every “unclean spirit” hates for Catholics to Confess and receive Absolution! Catholics know! “My soul is my most precious possession!”

That is why we are Catholics!
