Catholics know what Jesus teaches: There are always Two Groups of People.

"I have to Be Catholic!" One kind of people choose to let themseles be saved by He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies. Jesus describes the other group.

Catholics know The Two Groups of People:  those who get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” and those who don’t.

Those who get “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” respect He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies enough to obey His Church-Creating Word:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

In Today’s Reading, Colossians 1:1-8, St. Paul describes The Group blessed to have those “keys”, which include The Seven Catholic Sacraments, as “faithful brothers and sisters in Christ in Colossae.”  That city in Northern Greece was between places where the first Catholic Bishops were creating Catholic parishes and Dioceses from India to Western Europe.  “It is bearing fruit and growing among you.”

The Two Groups are described in Luke 4:18, Today’s “Alleluia”, where Jesus told us what His Mission was:  “The Lord sent Me to bring glad tidings to the poor and to proclaim liberty to captives.”  Those blessed to respect Jesus enough to Be Catholic are identified in Psalm 52:10-11:  “I trust in the mercy of God for ever.”

Luke 4:38-44 tells us that after curing His First Pope’s mother of the “severe fever that afflicted her”, at sunset, “all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to Him. He laid His hands on each of them and cured them.  And demons also came out from many, shouting: ‘You are the Son of God!’  But, He rebuked them and did not allow them to speak because they knew that He was The Christ.”

In Yesterday’s Reading, Luke 4:31-37, The Bible also tells us that demons know Jesus is “The Son of God”.

Catholics correctly conclude:  “Demons know more than the ‘poor captives’ whom they lead to disobey The Church-Creating Word of Jesus!”

The Two Groups of People on earth:  Catholics and “poor captives” who are enslaved by every nation’s  Conventional Reality.  It does the devil’s work by keeping “poor captives” from being “liberated” by “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, which include The Seven Catholic Sacraments.”

Today’s Simple Rhyme:   “Jesus sets ‘poor captives’ free / from every demon’s slavery / that keeps them from Catholic ‘liberty’.”
