God’s Holy Souls and Angels in Heaven look down to see how we are playing in Our Big Game! Catholics ask for their help.

Question 1: ‘What Word of Jesus do we all need to know?”

Answer: “Today’s Reading from Mk 3:22-30 helps us know where we are! ‘The scribes who had come from Jerusalem said of Jesus, ‘He is possessed by Beelzebub,’ and ‘By the prince of demons He drives out demons.’

~

Question 2: “What did Jesus say to those who insulted Him?

Answer: “‘Summoning them, He began to speak to them in parables, . . He asked them a simple question:
‘How can Satan drive out Satan?’

Question 3: “What did Jesus do next?”

Answer: “Jesus answered the question they could not answer! ‘If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. And, if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand; that is the end of him.’

~

Question 3: “Were the people who insulted Jesus ‘divided against themselves’?”

Answer: “They followed different masters. ‘Herodians’ followed Herod. Romans followed Caesar and Pontius Pilate. Sadducees, Scribes, and Pharisees followed those who led their groups. All were temporarily united against The Living Truth Who IS Jesus.”

They were ‘divided against themselves’.”

~

Question 4: “Were the people who accused Jesus of being ‘possessed’ working for Satan?”

Answer: “Jesus explained the simple truth. ‘But no one can enter a strong man’s house to plunder his property unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.’

~

“Question 5: “What does that mean?”

Answer: “Those who embrace sin work to weaken their neighbors with sin and confusion so they can ‘plunder’ them.”

~

Question 6: “How can we save ourselves?”

Answer: “Catholics keep our ‘life’ by keeping our minds free from sin and confusion. That lets us get these ‘keys’ from Jesus for our immortal soul: ‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’

~

“Question 7: What else does Jesus tell us?”

Answer: “‘Amen, I say to you, all sins and all blasphemies that people utter will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.’

~

Question 8: “What is the ‘unforgiveable’ and ‘everlasting sin’ that the enemies of Jesus commit?”

Answer: “‘. . . they had said, “He (Jesus) has an unclean spirit.’
