Catholics look for Prophecies in every Daily Reading. Today, Micah. #33.

The "children of God" respect and revere God's Prophets. May Catholics see and share their "Hidden Prophecies" that are in every Daily Catholic Reading:

Many avoid The Prophet Micah because he is “too Catholic”!  His Prophecy that Jesus would be born in the tiny village of Bethlehem (Micah 5:2) and not in the millions of other places on earth is the only Prophecy of Micah that many Christians want to know.

Today’s Catholic Reading from Micah 7:14-15 shares Micah’s Prophecies of the only Church that would be Spoken Into Being by The Church-Creating Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

The Catholic Church is predicted in Micah 7:14-15.  “Shepherd your people with your staff, (Every Catholic Bishop has a “staff”!) the flock of Your inheritance (the children of God!), that dwells apart in a woodland (A Prophecy of God’s Catholic Church feeding His “flock” for the past 2,000 years!), in the midst of Carmel (predicting every Catholic Diocese  and parish.)
Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, (Predicting Catholic Communion around the world, allowing us to receive The Holy Food of bread and wine that have been transformed into The Body and Blood of Jesus by The Catholic Miracle of Transubstantiation.) as in the days of old; (“days of old” refers specifically to Melchizedek providing bread and wine to Abraham at Jerusalem in Genesis 14:18-20.) As in the days when you came from the land of Egypt, show us wonderful signs.”

Those “wonderful signs” are Micah’s Prophecy of The Seven Catholic Sacraments:  Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Holy Communion with the Actual Body and Blood of Jesus transformed from bread and wine by The Power of God, Confirmation, Marriage, Healing, and Holy Orders, which take living form on earth in God’s Catholic priests and religious.

Micah predicts how important Catholic Confession and Absolution would be:  “Who is there like you, the God who removes guilt and pardons sin for the remnant of his inheritance;!
He tells us of The God “Who does not persist in anger forever, but delights rather in clemency, and will again have compassion on us, treading underfoot our guilt?”  Only the most stubborn and self-righteous do not see that as a Prophecy of how important Absolution is!

Micah’s Reasons to Be Catholic conclude with God’s love for us!  “You will cast into the depths of the sea all our sins;
You will show faithfulness to Jacob, and grace to Abraham (The first person on earth to receive Catholic Communion from Melchizedek, the First Catholic priest!)  As You have sworn to our fathers from days of old.”

Sadly, many of us let ourselves be led to disregard The Prophet Micah as The Great Error echoes through the ages:  “I know more than God’s Prophets about that!”
