Catholics love logic! Logic tells us: “God Created Creation. It is logical to follow His instructions!”

2,000 years ago, Jesus Fulfilled over 300 ancient Prophecies that predicted His coming in great detail. He came to earth in human form. He gave His Life as a “sacrificial lamb” so that some people could get into Heaven.

IF

Catholics look logically at His Teaching: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

We logically conclude: “If we choose to disobey God, we cannot be among His obedient ‘friends’.”

Catholics let logic lead us a step farther. “If we willfully choose to not be among His obedient ‘friends’, we automatically put ourselves among His disobedient enemies.”

That is a sobering thought.

But, Catholics love logic! “There one logical conclusion! If we knowingly and willfully refuse to obey Jesus, we cannot be among His obedient ‘friends’. Where else can we be but among His disobedient ‘enemies’?”

THEN

Logic leads us to ask: “How may my sins be forgiven? Is that a do-it-by-myself job?” He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies left One Church on Earth. He said:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

One of “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” is being absolved of our sins. So, Jesus empowered His First Catholic Bishops, and all who are ordained in living link with Them, with this Great Power:

“Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.”

SO

It is worse than “illogical”. It is insane to avoid the only Absolution that Jesus specifically promised could get our soul into Heaven.

Catholics obey “Love your neighbor.” We pray that our Protestant neighbors will love logic more than personal opinions that lead to the inevitable consequences of willfully disobeying Jesus.
