Prophecies abound in Today’s Reading! 1 Kings 3:4-14 tells us that “Solomon went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, because that was the most renowned high place.”
That is a Prophecy predicting that Solomon’s Temple, and then the Vatican, would replace “Gibeon” as “the most renowned high place” on earth. That is where the Body and Blood of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies would be provided to God’s most obedient people for the past 2,000 years. It is still the center of The Church Spoken Into Being by the Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope:
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
The Prophecies continue when “The LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream at night. God said, ‘Ask something of me, and I will give it to you.'”
The Prophesy? God’s chosen people on earth would always be blessed by asking God for what Solomon requested:
“Solomon answered: ‘… Give your servant, therefore, an understanding heart to judge your people and to distinguish right from wrong.”, prophesying that the best of God’s “servants”, His Catholic priests and religious, would bless us by spending their lives helping people “distinguish right from wrong”!
Psalm 119:9-14 has more Prophecies of God’s Guidance. “How shall a young man be faultless in his way? By keeping to Your Words… With all my heart I seek you; let me not stray from Your commands… Within my heart I treasure your promise that I may not sin against You… Blessed are you, O LORD: teach me Your statutes… In the way of Your decrees I rejoice, as much as in all riches.“
All the Messianic Prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New when John 10:27 tells us what God’s Faithful would do: “My sheep hear My voice, says The Lord; I know them, and they follow Me.”
The thirteen trillion light-years since The Loving Programmer began to download The Creation Program began to end in what St. Augustine of Hippo identified as “the sixth and final age”. That is prophesied in this description of every “vast crowd” on earth: “When Jesus disembarked and saw the vast crowd, His heart was moved with pity for them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.”
That is a Prophesy of His Catholic priests, religious, and people. For the past 2,000 years, they have continued to “teach us many things” that led Christ’s most blessed people to obey The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times: “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.”
