Question 1: “What sin did the Babylonian exiles know they had committed?”

Answer “Baruch 1:15-22 tells us. During the Babylonian captivity, the exiles prayed: ‘Justice is with The Lord, our God; and we today are flushed with shame, we men of Judah and citizens of Jerusalem, that we, with our kings and rulers and priests and prophets, and with our ancestors, have sinned in the Lord’s sight and disobeyed Him.'”

~

Question 2: “What sin did they commit?”

Answer: “‘For we did not heed the voice of the Lord, our God, in all the words of the prophets whom He sent us, but each one of us went off after the devices of his own wicked heart, served other gods, and did evil in the sight of the Lord, our God.’

~

Question 3: “How did they ask God to forgive them?”

Answer: “Psalm 79:1-9 explains! ‘For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us.’ Their plea included: ‘Help us, O God our savior, because of the glory of Your Name; Deliver us and pardon our sins for Your Name’s sake.’

~

Question 4: “How do Catholics stay obedient to Jesus?”

Answer: “We say ‘Alleluia! and heed: ‘If today you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts.’

~

Question 5: “When did Jesus start letting people ‘hear His Voice’?”

Answer: “Luke 10:1 tells us! ‘After this, Jesus appointed 72 others (His first Catholic Missionaries!) and sent them out ahead of Him to all the towns and places He was to visit.’

~

Question 6: “What did Jesus say to ‘the towns and places’ whose people rejected His First Catholic Missionaries?”

Answer: “‘Jesus said to them, ‘woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.’

Then, Jesus says something frightening to those who rejected His First Catholic Missionaries! ‘But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.’

~

Question 7: “What! Tyre and Sidon were Phoenician cities where living babies were sacrificed on altars to Baal! Will they be better off at Judgment than those in The Twelve Tribes who rejected Teachings of Jesus?”

Answer: Jesus is very clear about that! ‘And as for you, Capernaum, ‘Will you be exalted to heaven?’ (No!) You will go down to the netherworld.’

~

Question 8: “Should people listen to Catholic Missionaries who encourage their beloved neighbors to be in The Only Church Spoken Into Being by This Word of Jesus Christ: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’?”

Answer: “Every Catholic must encourage our friends, family, and neighbors to get the only ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ that Jesus left on earth! We remember what Jesus said about His First Catholic Missionaries!

‘Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me. And whoever rejects Me rejects The One Who sent Me.’

For 2,000 years, unnamed Catholic Missionaries encourage all to live by Every Word of Jesus. Many of them share posts like this with those they care about. Other Catholic Missionaries say ‘Amen!’ when they hear such encouragement.

The best book of the last Century is “The Diary of St. Faustina”. It lets each of us realize how much Jesus loves our soul. https://www.saint-faustina.org/diary-full-text/

There are many free books on the link at the top of this page that we may forward to people we love. They are provided by Catholic Missionaries as anonymous as the ones chosen by Jesus in Luke 10:1.
