Catholics obey what Protestants avoid.   He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies gave us Jesus’ Church Decree.  Jesus said to one man, one time, about The Only Church He Founded:

“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Getting into Heaven boils down to this:   “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”  Catholics obey what Protestants avoid.  Jesus’ Church Decree.

At the heart of Protestantism is this obedience-avoiding vanity:  “I can pick and choose which passages I want to believe.  I can get to Heaven on my own!”

Catholics avoid the soul-devouring vanity that takes over many minds:  “No one is going to tell me what to do!  No one is going to tell me what to believe.  I can get into Heaven by what I choose to believe because, frankly, I know more than Jesus.  I do not have to obey Him or Jesus’ Church Decree!”

Catholics reach this great understanding:  Since Jesus provided the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”, all other keys can only open “the gates of hell”.

Catholics are commanded to “love our neighbors”, including those who avoid Jesus’ Church Decree.  We find ways to ask:  “Who in their right mind would prefer the keys to ‘the gates of hell’ to ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’?

Grateful Catholics obey what Protestants avoid.  We obey Jesus’ Church Decree:

“Verily, verily I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Humble, respectful Catholics are overwhelmed with gratitude for having been blessed to obey He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies, including Jesus’ Church Decree.
