The leaders of every religion were threatened when John 14:6 announced This Word of He Who Fulfilled God’s Prophecies to the world: “‘I am the way and the truth and the life’, says the Lord; ‘no one comes to The Father except through Me.'”
Those in every Religious Marketing Plan on earth were smart enough to know: “We will lose our incomes if people take Jesus seriously enough to be in The Church He Spoke Into Being when He said: ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’” (Mt. 16:18-20)
Those whose incomes were threatened in every land had their own “old testament”. Their religions were carefully preserved by priests in their “old temples”. Priests of Mithra, Zeus, Venus, Baal, Buddha, Hindus, Manitou, Druids, and hundreds of others focused their beliefs on being anti-Catholic the moment their incomes were threatened by Catholic missionaries who took The Vows of Poverty, Obedience, and Celibacy that set them apart.
The New Testament is a carefully written record of how one of many groups of scribes, lawyers, Pharisees, Sadducees, Herodians, and Caesarians would persecute those who believed that He Whom God’s Prophets predicted would be born of a Virgin from The House of David (Isaiah 7:14) in the tiny village of Bethlehem (Micah 5:2) along with over 300 other Prophecies of God predicting that Jesus Christ would come to earth in Human Form.
St. Paul wrote Romans 3:21-30 to all those who worshiped many gods in their City and Empire: “Brothers and sisters: Now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, though testified to by the law and the prophets, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.”
The priests of thousands of other religions hated for their donors to know the Simple Truth about them: “There is no distinction; all have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God.”
Not one Profiteer of any other group wanted their donors to hear that! For 2,000 years, they have encouraged donors to attack all who “are justified freely by His Grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as an expiation, through faith, by His Blood, to prove His righeousness because of the forgiveness of sins previously comitted, through the forbearance of God, to prove His Righteousness in the present time that He might be righteous and justify the one who has faith in Jesus.”
Every Religious Profiteer, including the earth-worshipping Environmentalists of today, has a hard time with this Question: “Does God belong to Jews alone? Does He not belong to Gentiles (in every other people on earth) too? Yes, also to Gentiles for God is One and will justify the circumcised on the basis of faith and the uncircumcised through faith.”
Words of Psalm 130:1-6 are clear: “With the Lord there is mercy, and fullness of redemption.” Those words took Human Form by He Who told us in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to The Father except through Me.”
One of the best reasons to Be Catholic is to avoid those who keep many from Heaven: “Woe to you, scholars of the law! You have taken away the key of knowledge. You yourselves did not enter, and you stopped those trying to enter.”
The eternal truth about Religious Profiteers in every nation is clear: “When Jesus left, the scribes and Pharisees began to act with hostility toward Him . . . for they were plotting to catch Him at something He might say.”
