Catholics read The Bible. St. John’s warning is clear!

Catholics read The Bible. St. John’s warning is clear. In Revelation 20, Verses 14 and 15 teach about The Final Judgment. “. . . Death and Hades were emptied of the dead that were in them; and everyone was judged by the way in which he had lived. Death and Hades were thrown into the burning lake.”

The more we think about our immortal souls, the more we worry about “the way in which” we “live”!

It gets worse! “This burning lake is the second death; and anybody whose name could not be found in The Book of Life was thrown into the burning lake.”

We do not want our immortal souls to be in “the burning lake” for all the time to come!

What must we do to be written in “The Book of Life”?

1. We must be among those of whom Jesus said: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

2. We must not have willfully and knowingly have chosen to disobey the Holy Word with Which Jesus Spoke The Only Church He Founded Into Being:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

When someone tells us: “If you give me 10% of your income, I can get you into Heaven!” we remember: “Jesus could have given ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven‘ to that person. Jesus did not do that.”

3. We must understand that merely “believing” in Jesus is not enough. Those who willfully and knowingly prefer “believing” in Jesus to “obeying Jesus” are described:

John: 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God’s wrath.”
Merely “believing” while refusing to “obey” is an Awful Vanity. It guarantees “God’s wrath” will fall upon our soul!

4. Our names cannot be written in “The Book of Life” if we willfully and knowingly refuse to obey The Clear Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated fourteen times.

“If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”
