Catholics realize:  Our soul looks like God!

Puffs of whispering wind in human form:

Catholics realize:  Our soul looks like God!

In Genesis 1:26-28, God told us that each of us is made in the image of God:

“Then God said ‘Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth.’

And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

What does does God look like?  One time, God showed The Prophet Elijah what He resembled!

1 Kings, 19:  11-12.  “Then the LORD said: Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD; the LORD will pass by.

There was a strong and violent wind rending the mountains and crushing rocks before the LORD—but the LORD was not in the wind; after the wind, an earthquake—but the LORD was not in the earthquake; after the earthquake, fire—but the LORD was not in the fire; after the fire, a light silent sound.”

In some translations, the “light silent sound” is a “gentle breeze”,  a “gentle blowing”, or “a still, small voice”.

That was God!

We realize that God, behind His “mountain rending, rock-crushing wind”, is a “puff of whispering wind”!

~

We know that we are “made in The Image of God”.  At the moment of conception, our spirit, mind, and body began to come together around our soul.

It is our soul that is “made in The Image of God”!  Our “soul” creates us around it!

Our “soul” is a tinier version of The Creator!  Our souls are much smaller “puffs of whispering wind“!

~

Catholics connect that to The Holy Word with Which Jesus Spoke The Catholic Church Into Being:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

We realize that our tiny “puff of whispering wind” has been given this opportunity!

Catholics are able to grasp the only “keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” that “Words of The Word of God” Spoke Into Being on earth!

“the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven” are The Seven Catholic Sacraments!
