Catholics realize this is One Amazing Sentence in The Bible!

Many read The Bible and become Catholic to escape the contradictions and confusion of countless Protestant Marketing Plans.

St. Paul gives believers eight new definitions of God in One Amazing Sentence from Today’s Reading.  All of time and space is understood in 1 Timothy 6:13-16:

“Beloved: I charge you before God, who gives life to all things (New definition of God #1: ‘The Giver of Life to all things’!),
and before Christ Jesus, (#2: Jesus is defined as “next” to God, leading us to The Holy Trinity of One God in Three Persons.)

Who gave testimony under Pontius Pilate for the noble confession, (That “noble confession” is the Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Pope:  ‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’  Those “keys” include The Seven Catholic Sacraments.)

to keep the commandment without stain or reproach  (We must not ‘stain’ our souls by “reproaching” any of God’s Catholic Teachings because (#3) God is He Who wants us to “keep the commandment”.)

until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ (#4) that the blessed and only ruler (We must not be led astray by those who do not follow Every Word of “the blessed and only ruler”.)

will make manifest at the proper time, (#5) the King of kings and Lord of lords,

(Three more definitions of God follow)  (#6) “Who alone has immortality, (#7) Who dwells in unapproachable light, and (#8) Whom no human being has seen or can see.”

(That single sentence is followed by another Definition of God in this short, simple sentence!  Paul defines God as being He Whose “eternal power” is given the most obedient “honor” by Catholics):  (#9) To Him be honor and eternal power. Amen.”

More reasons to Be Catholic are found in Luke 8:4-15.  We may examine them in the next post!
