Catholics souls: compass needles that leave their compass!

A step up from considering Jesus as The North Pole and souls as compass needles.  Catholic souls:  compass needles that leave their compass!

Obedient souls are drawn to Jesus.  He described them: “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”  The souls of His obedient “friends” choose to let themselves be drawn to Jesus by being obedient to Him.

How are His obedient souls identified?  Those who meaningfully believe in Jesus will obey His Great Church-Founding Decree:

“. . I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven. . .”

Those who think “I know more than Jesus!” point away from Him.

Their souls are separated from Him.  Many used to ask:  “Are the souls of the disobedient shriveled?  Shrunken?  Stained?

In our age, we may be blessed to ask:  “Do the souls of the willfully disobedient reverse their polarity?”

Disobedient souls choose to let themselves be “de-magnetized”.  They decide:  “I do not want to obey Jesus.  I want what I want and I want it, now!

Those souls are like compass needles that no longer point North.

They prefer other attractions.  Pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth draw self-serving souls to them.

As they grow farther from Jesus, they are no longer among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Catholics are blessed to obey the clear call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times:  “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

Miraculously, He has provided That Holy Food at every Catholic Mass since The Last Supper.  Catholics do not merely “point” to Jesus!  We become part of Him and He of us!

Catholics souls: compass needles that leave their compass!   We are joined with Him!
