Christ’s cure for “Confusion Headaches”: Be Catholic. Stay Catholic. #43.

Some people are still upset with Jesus for saying a Roman Centurion had greater "faith than anyone in Israel"!

Yesterday’s Reading from Isaiah 2:15 was on the First Day of Advent.  Isaiah predicted that the saved souls of “all nations shall stream toward the mountain of God’s House.”  That was a Prophesy of The Catholic Church Spoken into Being by The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Pope:  “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Today, Isaiah 4:2-6 Prophesies The Catholic Church will replace the Temple “for the survivors of Israel.  He who remains in Zion and he who is left in Jerusalem will be called holy, every one marked down for life in Jerusalem.”  For 2,000 years, Jerusalem has been The Catholic Church in Rome, still providing The Seven Sacraments of Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, Healing the Sick, and Holy Orders that Jesus left on earth to His “obedient friends” in John 20:23.

Those blessed to understand how the Newly Chosen People became The Chosen Church still follow Psalm 122:1-9  that “Let us go rejoicing to The House of The Lord.”  Catholics “have set foot within your gates, O Jerusalem… to which the tribes go up, the Tribes of The Lord… May peace be within your walls, prosperity in your buildings.”

Today’s Reading from Psalm 80:4 foretells the Catholic joy of receiving the Seven Sacraments: “Come and save us, LORD our God;  let Your face shine upon us that we may be saved.”

On this Second Day of Advent, Mt. 8:5-11 tells us that Faith is what saves Catholics from “Confusion Headaches” that affect others.  “When Jesus entered Capernaum, a Centurion approached and appealed to Him, ‘Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully.’ Jesus said ‘I will come and cure him.'”

Then the Roman Centurion gave the world This Catholic Teaching!  “Lord, I am not worthy to have You enter under my roof;  only say the word and my servant shall be healed, for I too, am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me.  They come and go and do as I tell them.”

Not one person in Israel understood the Authority of Jesus as well as that Roman Centurion!  “When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those following Him, ‘Amen I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.  I say to you, many (who are blessed with Catholic understanding)  will come from the East and the West, and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the banquet in The Kingdom of Heaven.”

That Word of He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies clearly tells us that those who have more understanding of Him than “anyone in Israel” will get into Heaven.  Many prefer to suffer from “Confusion Headaches” that keep them from Being Catholic.
