Consider a deeper Communion.

Catholic Fundamentalism believes we can be more aware of the connections between us and God by seeing that He programs in particles.

He wrote and downloaded The Creation Program, with its quadrillions of sub-programs, so that each human program is the star in a giant, long-running 3-D movie.

Each of us “Stars” has been programmed with free will. Each of us, in our starring roles, must make choices. We will obey The Loving Programmer and His Operating Instructions, or we will not. At the end of our performance, The Critic passes Judgment. If we have followed Directions, we get to live high, high above the Hollywood Hills in perfect joy forever with the Biggest Stars (the poorest Saints) and He Who made them.

NOW, that being said, move from that simple introduction and consider that the world is actually made a better place with each Consecration at each Mass. All Catholics agree with that. Should we consider something beyond the basics?

Beginning with The Last Supper, and continuing with each Mass thereafter, wine has been turned into The Blood of Christ. Consider a deeper Communion.

If I were a physicist, some number could be calculated of the number of molecules of Christ’s Blood going from The Chalice and from those receiving Therefrom, into the air.

With each Holy Mass, it is undeniable that more and more of Christ goes into atmosphere. In every cubic foot of air on earth, there are ten, or a hundred, or a thousand molecules of Jesus’ Blood.

Please, bear with me here, because it may seem bizarre: When we ask a saint to intercede for us, what may happen is that an angel moves a precious, nearby molecule of His Blood into the necessary place where it can short-circuit/overpower/erase/restore the part of our program in need of His Holy Help.

Catholic Fundamentalism believes we should use our knowledge to help our faith in The Only Church Jesus Founded. Pity the poor Protestants who are denied not only His Saving Blood, but also, knowledge of how it may help those who ask.

Reality returns to two passages that are the sum total of all that the Prophets predicted: John 6: 53. “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”

He Who provided that life tells us that He did so in one place: Mt. 16: 18-20 “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Consider a deeper Communion. In it, we find His Saving Body and Blood in The Only Church Jesus Founded. Pray that our friends and enemies may see and understand how much they lose by focusing on anything else. Are the molecules of His Body the building blocks of holiness?
