The Son of God, Jesus Christ, Messiah is “The Program in Perfect, Obedient, Human Form”. We see validity in seeing Him as “The Program” by turning to 1 Col 1, 15-20:
“Christ is the head of all creation. He is the image of the unseen God, and the first-born of all creation, for in Him were created all things in heaven and on earth: everything visible and everything invisible, Thrones, Dominations, Sovereignties, Powers–all things were created through Him and for Him. Before anything was created, He existed, and He holds all things in unity. Now the Church is His body, He is its head.
As He is the Beginning, He was first to be born from the dead, so that He should be first in every way’ because God wanted all perfection to be found in Him and all things to be reconciled through Him and for Him, when He made peace by His death on the cross.”
That’s a mystifying passage. When we read it, and replace the word “God” with “The Programmer” and Christ and all pronouns referring to Him with “The Program”, it becomes vastly less mystifying. Those changes let us see the passage written in words with which we’re familiar:
“The Program is the first thing that The Programmer programmed. The Program is the image of the unseen Programmer and the first thing that The Programmer brought into being, for in The Program were programmed all things in Heaven and on earth; seen or unseen, including the orders of The Programming Assistants (Thrones, Dominions, Sovereigns, Powers, etc.) all things came into being through (and for) The Program. Before any part of The Program was downloaded, The Program was written, and all things are held in unity by The Program. Now, those who follow The Living Program’s Operating Instructions are His body, He is its head.
Just as The Program was the first thing to come into being, so The Program, Who came to earth in perfect, obedient, human form, was first to be erased and restored in all His perfection, because God wanted The Program to be so perfect that it would trust in Him for having made Him unerasable, with all things taking their place in The Living Program’s thereby proven perfection, reconciled to The Programmer through The Living Program. That reconciliation/total restoration/Resurrection came when The Living Program In Perfect Human Form obediently allowed Himself to be erased before being restored.”
If a person contemplates the passage in the original, and then reviews and compares it with the the Current Technology Translation, more of its truth is clear more quickly in the latter.
