Conventional Reality or Catholic Fundamentalism? Our choice.

Conventional Reality provides the popular conclusion: “The universe is so big, old, and complicated that it has to be a 20 billion year old accident. It took 20 billion years for us to evolve and the galaxies to have spread through space after the big bang.”

That is Conventional Reality. It is very popular. The Catholic Fundamentalism position is just as undeniable, but it is not popular:

“The Loving Programmer wrote and downloaded The Creation Program. He made all there is with particles and energies. He turned them into systems and beings with the help of His earliest programs, His angelic Programming Assistants.”

When asked how long it took, Catholic Fundamentalism suggests: “He wrote and downloaded The Creation Program in six programming sessions.”

“What?” is generally asked, in tones of varying incredulity. Then, “Why would he do that?”

“He wrote and downloaded The Creation Program for His most complicated programs, we human beings with free will. He wanted to give each of us a chance to live in joy forever by freely choosing to believe in Him enough to obey His operating instructions. We make our decisions surrounded by set-decorations, programmed perfectly into a giant, long-running, truly 3-D movie to give each of us free will.”

Some reply, “But, we can’t believe in a God that powerful. We can’t believe in a God Who loves us that much!”

In our time, with 3-D printers and computers cranking out parts in lights-out factories, it’s easier than ever to see God and His infinite choirs of angels downloading all there is in degrees of complexity that reflect His vastly superior intelligence and ability.

But, some can’t see it. Other don’t want to. “No one could be that much smarter than me!”The Garden is self-weeding.

At the end of the day: Conventional Reality or Catholic Fundamentalism? Our choice.
