The “Culture of Death”

When we speak of “The Culture of Death”, we don’t want to forget that it’s a part, a big and important part, of something larger. Those in “The Culture of Death” are the extremists in a larger group that is “The Culture of Hate”.

Every time we see something that indicates a lack of fairness, justice, or kindness, it is coming from a person whose soul is mired in “The Culture of Hate”. There, fairness, justice, and kindness are despised.

For instance, we see many hateful people in the academic community who give preferential treatment to “desired minorities”. When these favored groups are analyzed, we see that: “To have the same chances of gaining admission as a black student with an SAT score of 1100, an Hispanic student otherwise equally matched in background characteristics would have to have a 1230, a white student a 1410, and an Asian student a 1550.”

In other words, an Asian student trying to get into a well-known university has to have an SAT score that’s 450 points higher than a black student.

That, of course, is not fair. And, that’s what “The Culture of Hate” wants. It’s not just people that they hate, it’s concepts like “fairness”, “truth”, love” and “justice”. No surprise, then, that they gravitate toward the unfairness described above, an unfairness that separates those who benefit from it from love and truth, as well.

It’s a soul-destroying cancer that destroys all who come in contact with it, except for those who are still able to love their neighbors, doing good to them that hurt them, and live according to the love demanded by The Beloved Program during His time on earth.

Few things frustrate those in “The Culture of Hate” as much as not being able to make people hate them, no matter how full of hate they are.
