Today’s “Hidden Prophecies” begin in Acts 26:33 when Paul tells those in the synagogue of Antioch in central Turkey about the one kind of people whose souls may be saved: “My brothers, children of the families of Abraham and those others among you who are God-fearing, to us this Word of Salvation has been sent.”
May all be blessed to be “God-fearing” enough to realize “this Word of Salvation” to which St. Paul is referring includes The Church-Creating Word of Jesus to His First Catholic Pope! “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Then, St. Paul gives us a “Hidden Prophecy” identifying the other kind of people on earth, those who are not “God-fearing”. “The inhabitants of Jerusalem and their leaders failed to recognize Him, and by condemning Him, they fulfilled the oracles of the prophets that are read sabbath after sabbath.”
In every generation, those two kinds of people are as different as day and night. Those who hate The Church-Creating Word of Jesus are not “God-Fearing”! “Even though they found no grounds for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have Him put to death, and when they had accomplished all that was written about Him, they took Him down from the tree and placed Him in a tomb.”
That is a “Hidden Prophecy”! It foretells self-centered people who would spend the next 2,000 years attacking those blessed to “fear God” enough to seek “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”. Those “keys” include The Seven Catholic Sacraments that He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies left to His First Catholic Pope and the Catholic priests and religious who would provide Baptism, Confession/Absolution, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, and Healing by being blessed to be Ordained to be His living “Holy Orders” in human form.
Paul reminded them, and us, of the “Hidden Prophecy” in Psalm 2:6-11 where King David predicted He Whom Catholics would most clearly recognize as God’s Messiah: “You are My Son, this day I have begotten You.”
He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies made that clear in His soul-saving “Hidden Prophecy” that still leads “God-fearing people” to “Be Catholic”! John 14:6 is His Living Message: “‘I am the way and the truth and the life‘, says The Lord. ‘No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
That One Sentence is a “Hidden Prophecy” calling “God-fearing people” to Catholic Communion! It is so important that Today’s Catholic Reading repeats that “Life-giving Word” twice!
Those blessed to follow The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times, “If you do not eat My Body and drink My Blood you do not have life in you.”, are blessed to be living reminders of that “Hidden Prophecy” which predicted centuries of Joyful Catholic souls, billions of whom have been rejoicing in Heaven for the past 2,000 years!
Then, we find this “Hidden Prophecy” that predicts every Catholic’s Blessed Eternity among “the many dwelling places in My Father’s House”… And, if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to Myself, so that where I am you also may be.”
It is impossible for anyone who meaningfully believes in Jesus to read Today’s “Hidden Prophecies” and not want to “Be As Catholic as I can!”
