“Heav’n and earth shall flee away, when He comes to reign” says Christina Rosetti in a poem that turned into the beautiful song, “In the Bleak Midwinter”.
When “earth shall flee away”, all the three dimensional structures lovingly programmed and compiled by The Programmer will be erased. There will be no more need for them. He installed His entire universe program for one reason, to give each human being the opportunity to make one of two choices; to serve either the things programmed or He Who programmed all that is.
When we consider how He programmed the basic structures that form the smallest particles, we can understand that an “erasure mechanism” was also encoded. A word from The Programmer, and all is gone.
The Book of Revelations makes one thing clear. The only things remaining will be in the New Jerusalem, where all sane people hope to spend eternity.
