Did the Prophet Jeremiah answer this odd Catholic question?

Catholics ask an odd question. “Can souls in Heaven watch the souls in hell be tormented?” Catholics know that Prophets have God’s Truth revealed to them!

The Prophet Jeremiah seems to tell us that the souls in Heaven may see the souls in hell be tormented.

Jeremiah 20:10-13 begins by telling how Jeremiah is being persecuted: “I hear the whisperings of many: “Terror on every side! Denounce! let us denounce him!”

Those who were close to him turned against him!

“All those who were my friends are on the watch for any misstep of mine. ‘Perhaps he will be trapped; then we can prevail, and take our vengeance on him.’”

Jeremiah knows that God will defeat his enemies.

“But the LORD is with me, like a mighty champion: my persecutors will stumble, they will not triumph. In their failure they will be put to utter shame, to lasting, unforgettable confusion.”

Jeremiah asks God to him see what happens to His enemies!

O LORD of hosts, you who test the just, who probe mind and heart, Let me witness the vengeance you take on them, for to you I have entrusted my cause.” (emphasis added)

It is hard to imagine that God would not answer such a heartfelt prayer from His great Prophet! It is reasonable to conclude that Obedient Catholics may “witness” the torments inflicted on those who choose to do evil. Another question?

Does Heaven have “Observation Decks”? Does it have telescopes and speakers to see and hear what’s going on in the Nine Circles of hell?

Most likely, the odors can’t be smelled!
