Do Catholics find “Life” by being pleasing to God? The Psalms tell us! #17. – Catholic Fundamentalism

Do Catholics find “Life” by being pleasing to God? The Psalms tell us! #17.

Question 1: “What do good Catholics try to be?” Answer: “We pray to be among those described in The Bible in 1 Timothy 3:1-13: ‘Beloved, this saying is trustworthy: whoever aspires to the office of bishop desires a noble task. Therefore, a bishop must be irreproachable, married only once, temperate, self-controlled, decent, hospitable, able to […]

Question 1: “What do good Catholics try to be?”

Answer: “We pray to be among those described in The Bible in 1 Timothy 3:1-13: ‘Beloved, this saying is trustworthy: whoever aspires to the office of bishop desires a noble task. Therefore, a bishop must be irreproachable, married only once, temperate, self-controlled,
decent, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not aggressive, but gentle, not contentious, not a lover of money.’

Question 2: “In the early days of The Church, Bishops were married. Why can’t Bishops or Catholic priests be married, today?”

Answer: “The Catholic Church realized that Her Ordained Clergy should live as Jesus did, in Poverty, Celibacy, and Obedience. Only The Catholic Church requires Her clergy to live by That Example of Jesus Christ.”

Question 3: “What do Catholics gain by being in The Only Church Spoken Into Being by This Word of Jesus Christ? ‘And I say unto you, thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.'”

Answer: “Obeying Jesus lets us be among these people described in Psalm 101: 1-2, 5, and 6!

We begin by saying: ‘I will walk with blameless heart.’ and: ‘Of mercy and judgment I will sing; to you, O LORD, I will sing praise. I will persevere in the way of integrity; when will You come to me’?

The Answer is our Response! ‘I will walk with blameless heart.’ I will walk with blameless heart, within my house; I will not set before my eyes any base thing.”

We repeat our Response: ‘I will walk with blameless heart.’ That tells us who to avoid on earth!
‘Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, him will I destroy. The man of haughty eyes and puffed up heart I will not endure.’

Question 3: “What do Catholics gain by our humbly respect to The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?”

~

Answer: “We gain ‘life’! Today’s Reading tells us what Jesus can do for a person whose body dies! In Luke 7:11-17 ‘Jesus journeyed to a city called Nain, and His disciples and a large crowd accompanied Him. As He drew near to the gate of the city, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. A large crowd from the city was with her.’

Question 4: “What did Jesus do?” ‘When the Lord saw her, He was moved with pity for her and said to her, ‘Do not weep.’ He stepped forward and touched the coffin; at this the bearers halted, and Jesus said, ‘Young man, I tell you, arise!’ The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. . .’

Some people saw that, and knew: ‘ . . . God has visited His people.’

Question 5: “Has Jesus ‘journeyed’ to every Catholic and given us ‘life’ for the past 2,000 years?”

Answer: “Jesus empowers every Catholic priest to preside over The Miracle of Transubstantiation. They change bread and wine into The Actual Body and Blood of Jesus Christ! That Holy Food lets those who are chosen to be Catholics obey The Call to Catholic Communion that Jesus repeated 14 times!

‘If you do not eat My Body and Drink My Blood, you do not have life in you.’

~

Only Catholics are blessed to meaningfully understand that Jesus is God and has The Power to Provide That Holy, Life-giving Food to every Catholic, not only ‘the son of The Widow of Nain.’ May all of us ‘walk with a blameless heart!’ and get His Holy, Life-giving Food!
