Hebrews 4:12-16 is very important!   We learn that we have “creatures” living in our brain!     “The word of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even between soul and spirit; . . . it can judge the secret emotions and thoughts. No created thing can hide from Him.”

Our “secret emotions and thoughts” are our “created things”. They are “creatures” we have living in our brain!

It is we who bring our beliefs and opinions into Being.   Beliefs and opinions become “created things”. They are “creatures”, in our brain. Each takes on a life of its own.  Our beliefs and opinions are our beloved “pets”.   Our brain has many such “pets” living inside it!

We love to introduce other people to the beliefs and opinions that have become our beloved “pets”!   “I think that .  .  . “ is the usual way we introduce a favorite “pet”!

~

Catholics know. God sees our thoughts.   He sees how much we love our “pets”.   The Bible tells us that it is impossible to fool God!
He is “able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart.”

God “discerns” what we are thinking while we turn our desires and thoughts into beliefs!   He sees how much we love the little “pets” in our brain!

Catholics try to see our “pets” as God sees them!  “No creature is concealed from Him, but everything is naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must render an account.”

That is frightening!   Each of the beloved “pets” we have been feeding in our mind is a “creature” that is not “concealed from Him”!

We cannot keep it “concealed” if we worry more about our “pets” than about being among “You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

The First Commandment reminds us!   “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Catholics put God before our “pets”! We obey His Only Church-Founding Decree: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

We have “the keys”!
