Catholics begin with two facts, one conclusion, one question, and one answer!
Fact 1. God “created” the universe and the beings within it.
Fact 2. Each of us is “created in the image of God”.
The Conclusion: People are “created” with the ability to “create”.
The Question? What do we “create”?
The Answer: We all “create” beliefs in our mind. Our beloved beliefs are actually “creatures”. We know that because we “created” them when we decided what they would be.
~
We support our favorite “beliefs”! We feed those “creatures” with information.
The “beliefs” we have “created” take on a life of their own in our brain! They lead us to do as they desire.
~
There are “good beliefs” and “bad beliefs” living in our minds. We know that “Only God is Good!” So, “Good creatures” are beliefs that focus our thoughts, words, and deeds on obeying He Who is only “Good”!
“Good creatures” are beliefs that encourage us to focus on one thing! “Obey God! Get your immortal soul into Heaven!”
~
Every good belief is opposed by an opposite.
The “bad creatures” in our mind include excuses for pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth. They try to drive away the “good beliefs” who encourage obedience to God.
~
“I am a Catholic.” is a “good belief” that lives in many minds. That “good creature” will lead us to “the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven”!
A “bad creature” wants to live in our mind. It has a name. “I refuse to be Catholic!” That “bad creature” is fed by pride, envy, greed, gluttony, anger, lust, and sloth!
~
Many people are confused by conflicting beliefs. They cannot tell “good creatures” from “bad creatures”. How do we tell “good creatures” from bad??
All the “bad creatures” in our mind urge us to disobey This Teaching of He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies!
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
Catholics know! “Every Teaching of Jesus Christ helps “good beliefs” to rule in our minds!”
