Every day is Mother’s Day.

Murder is easier today than ever.  Abortion-inducing birth control makes murder as easy as taking a pill.  Our mothers chose life.  We must never forget our mothers.  Every day is Mother’s Day.

Mothers are tested as never before.  The deaths of a billion babies killed by abortionists are a great evil.  There is an  even worse slaughter of innocent babies.

Countless billions of unborn boys and girls have been killed by abortion-inducing pills and implants.  Billions of babies, as tiny as a grain of salt, smaller than a tiny dot,(.)  are killed on the way to their mother’s womb.

Today, murder is as simple as taking a pill.  Societies are so awash with distractions that many no longer see how precious each life is.

We find truth in thinking about very small things.  Our mother’s ova was smaller than a grain of salt.  The sperm cell from our father was the size of two grains of talcum powder.   We were, in our first days, very, very, very tiny.

Yet, we were alive!  The DNA from countless generations of our ancestors came together.   We were each built from countless millions of DNA molecules, and the billions of atoms that comprise them.  At the moment of conception, we came into being!  We may picture angels assembling the parts that produced us!

Each of us was blessed to be because our mothers chose to let us live!

Our beloved mothers took no deadly chemicals to destroy us.  They did not go to some awful place to have us killed in the first nine months of our life.

We must never forget our mothers.  On Mother’s Day, Catholics remember:  Every day is Mother’s Day.  God loves His Mother!  We love ours!

And, we may pray that we, and all, will follow Catholic Teaching:  “Life is to be protected from conception to natural death.” Then, more may celebrate the Miracle of Mothers.
