We like to have money!  We can buy things!   Gluttons love money!  Who avoids money?

Catholic priests and religious.

Many Catholic priests and religious take Vows of Poverty.   They avoid having money.    When they are given money, many of them give it away.   They prefer to pray and work for God and their neighbors.

Worldly people think Catholic priests and religious are crazy.  “It’ is insane to not want more money!”

~

Why do many Catholics take Vows of Poverty?   They know what billionaires do not.  A love of money lets us be ruled by Greed.  Greed keeps people from obeying “Thou shall have no other gods before Me.”  That is God’s First Commandment!

What happens to the immortal souls of those who willfully disobey The First Commandment?   God does not want such souls in Heaven.

Greedy People do not think about their souls.  What do they think about?   More money!

~

Greed turns into Gluttony.   Gluttony drives millionaires to become billionaires.  Then, Gluttony drives billionaires to want more billions!   Gluttons put money before everything!

There are two kinds of Gluttons.

1.  Lying Gluttons rule the nations with more freedom.  “I will make more money if I pretend to care about people.”

2.  Honest Gluttons rule over nations without freedom.  “If people won’t give me money, I will take it by force.”

Both kinds of Gluttons agree:  “I need more money!”

~

Catholics know!  Jesus could have had all the money in the world!  The devil offered it to Him!  When we think about Jesus, we understand:  Every institution of every government on earth is ruled by Gluttons!   Their puppets pick our pockets.

As Gluttons take over, everyone else has less.  In a way, that’s good.  It lets smarter people realize two things.

1.  “Gluttony causes inflation.  Money is less valuable every year.”

2.  “If I put money before God, my immortal soul cannot spend eternity in the Joy of Heaven!”
