The Catholic Weekly Reading includes God’s IQ Test, #11. Four questions! From John 15: 1-8,

“Jesus said to his disciples: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and every one that does He prunes so that it bears more fruit.”

God’s IQ Test, #11. Question 1:

“Is it possible to be on “the true vine” if we willfully disobey This Teaching from He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies? Mt. 16: 18-20. “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.” My answer:

1. “Yes.”

2. “No.”

3. “I do not want to think about that.”

Question 2.

If we are Catholics, should we “remain on the vine”? “You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me.” My answer:

1. “Yes”. Jesus gave us the answer to Question 2! “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.”

2. “No. I do not like the answer Jesus Christ gave to that question!”

3. “I do not want to think clearly about that.”

Question 3. Do I want to be in this group of people? “Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned.” My answer:

1. “Yes!”

2. “No!”

3. “I do not want to think clearly about that!”

Question 4: Do I want to be in this group of people? “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.” My answer:

1. “Yes!”

2. “No! Jesus has to let me into Heaven!”

3. “I do not want to think clearly about that!”
