God’s IQ Test. #18. “Do I think well enough to get into Heaven?”

Today’s Reading tells us who gets into Heaven! Acts 10:25-26, 34-35, 44-48 include words from The First Catholic Pope.

“When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and, falling at his feet, paid him homage. Peter, however, raised him up, saying, “Get up. I myself am also a human being.”

Question 1. “Did Peter think that Jesus Christ made him better than other people?”

My answer: “Yes.” _____. “No.” _____.

“Then Peter proceeded to speak and said, “In truth, I see that God shows no partiality. Rather, in every nation whoever fears him and acts uprightly is acceptable to him.”

Question 2: “Did Peter share an Absolute Truth about the importance of accompanying our beliefs with ‘acts’?”

My answer: “Yes.” _____. “No.” _____. “I do not want to think about that.” _____.

Question 3. “I ‘fear’ having my soul go to His Judgment and not be “acceptable to God”. Is it possible for me to “act uprightly” while I willfully disobey This Teaching from Jesus Christ: “And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”?

My answer: “Yes.” _____. “No.” _____. “I do not want to think about that.” _____.

“While Peter was still speaking these things, The Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the word.” Those “words” were being spoken by Peter! “The circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit should have been poured out on the Gentiles also . . .”

“Then Peter responded, ‘Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit even as we have?’ He ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Question 4: “If I ‘fear’ God and ‘act uprightly’ by being obedient, will The Holy Spirit lead me to receive the other ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ from Catholic priests who are Ordained in living link with The Authority Jesus Christ gave to Peter?”

“Yes.” _____. “No.” _____. “I don’t want to think about that.” _____.

Jn 14:23 is clear! “Whoever loves me will keep my word, says the Lord, and my Father will love him and we will come to him.”

Question 5. “Can anyone ‘keep’ that “Word” from Jesus and be loved by Him and The Father if we reject the ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ He gave to The Only Church He spoke into being?”

“Yes.” _____. “No.” _____. “I do not want to think about that!” _____.

John 15:9-17 tells us: “Jesus said to his disciples: “As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.”

Question 6. “Jesus perfectly obeyed His Father’s commandments. If I do not see that every Instruction from Jesus is a “commandment” to me, can I “remain in His love”?

My answer: “Yes.” _____. “No.” _____. “I do not want to think about that!” _____.
