God’s IQ Test. #23. “How well do we think?”

We spend a lot of time thinking.   God’s IQ Test.  #23.  “How well do we think?”

Catholics think about what happens when we “think”?

When we “think”, our spirit moves around in our mind.  It collects memories written on electrons in our brain.  “Thinking” puts those tiny bits of information together.  They form our thoughts.  Thoughts turn into beliefs.  Beliefs turn into decisions.  Decisions turn into deeds.

Good thinking leads to good decisions and deeds.

~

There are two kinds of thinking.

1.  Good thinking moves us closer to God.

2.  Bad thinking moves us farther from God.

~

Our best thinking moves us toward two things:

1.  Greater love for God and our neighbor.

2.  More obedience to The Teachings of God.

~

The best Catholic thinking is driven by one thought!  “I have an immortal soul.  It will stand before God at Judgment.  He Who Fulfilled The Prophecies will decide if my soul will get into Heaven!”

We think about what He said about the souls He allows into Heaven!

“You are My friends if you obey My commands.”

Thinking clearly about that Word of God lets us reach the only intelligent decision!   “I should strive to obey Every Instruction that Jesus Christ left on earth!”

~

Catholics begin our Pilgrimage to Obedience by obeying The Word with Which Jesus Christ specifically Spoke One Church Into Being.

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

Good thinking lets us understand!   “Jesus Christ left no other ‘keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’ on earth!  I want those ‘keys’!”

~

Catholics think our way to a simple prayer.   “God, please let me live so that my soul will go to Your Judgment and be forever among ‘You are My friends if you obey My commands.'”

That’s good thinking!
