John 17:20-26 makes us each ask a question! “Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed saying: “I pray not only for these, (His First Apostles) but also for those who will believe in me through their word, (future Catholics) so that they may all be one, . . .”
Question 1. “Is Jesus telling us that He is ‘praying’ to God to lead ‘all’ His followers to ‘be one’ by being in One Church?”
My answer: 1. “That seems reasonable.” ___. 2. “He wants us to worship Him however we want.” ___.

Jesus then describes His “oneness” with The Father. ” . . . as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
Question 2. “Can anyone be “in” The Father and The Son if they willfully disobey The Word with Which The Father’s Son Spoke One Church into Being?”
“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”
My answer: 1. “We must try to obey Every Teaching of The Son if we want to be “one” with God.” ___. 2. “I will worship Him the way I want.” ___.

Jesus describes what He will give to His obedient followers. “And I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one, as We are One, . . .”
Question 3. “Can anyone be blessed to share in the “glory” that Jesus promised if we willfully refuse to be “one” with Him and The Father?
My answer: 1. “We cannot share His ‘glory’ if we willfully disobey Him.” ___. 2. “I need to think about that!” ___.

Then, Jesus told us how a person may find “perfection”. “I in them and you in me, that they may be brought to perfection as one, that the world may know that You sent Me, and that You loved them even as You loved Me.”
Question 4. “Can anyone be brought to ‘perfection’ while willfully disobeying Any Teaching from Jesus Christ?”
My answer: “Yes.” ___. “No.” ___.

Then, Jesus tells us where His obedient “friends” come from!
“Father, they are Your gift to Me. I wish that where I am they also may be with Me, that they may see My glory that You gave me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”
Question 5. “Would it be intelligent of me to ask The Father to make me into His “gift” to The Son?
My answer: “Yes! ___. “No. ___. “I should think more about that!” ___.

Every Christian is then described by Jesus Christ! “Righteous Father, the world also does not know You, but I know You, and they know that You sent Me.”
Question 6. Since every Christian knows that The Father sent The Son to earth, is every Christian able be an obedient “gift’ from The Father to The Son?
The only answer: “Yes!” ___. ”

Catholics know that Jesus Christ wants this for all of us: “I made known to them Your Name and I will make it known, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them and I in them.”
