God’s IQ Test. #62 “Can I tell a ‘wooden beam’ from a ‘splinter'”?

.                                    Catholics see a new meaning in “wooden beams”!   Protestants build houses on them.

Protestants are amazing!  They read The Holy Word with Which Jesus Christ Spoke The Catholic Church Into Being:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

They read that.  Then, they reject The Only Church He Founded.

~

Question 1.   “Why would anyone say ‘I believe in Jesus!’ and avoid The Only Church given ‘the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven’?”

Protestant answers are the same!  “I know more than Jesus Christ about that!”

~

Catholics consider Mt. 7:1-5.  “Jesus said to his disciples:  ‘Stop judging, that you may not be judged.  For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.”

Question 2.  Are we ‘judged’ and ‘measured’ by our obedience to Every Teaching of Jesus Christ?

The Protestant answer:   “No.  I only have to ‘believe’.”

~

Protestants repeat their usual reasons for not being Catholic.  “Catholics worship idols!”, “Peter never went to Rome.”, “There were some bad Popes”,  “Indulgences are wrong.”,  “The Catholic Church is too rich.”, etc.

Jesus Christ asks them Question 3!  “Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye?”

~

Catholics know what the “wooden beam” is!  It is willful disobedience to Any Teaching of Jesus Christ!  We see something new!  Protestants build “houses” in their minds on “wooden beams”!

That is one reason Jesus asks Question 4.  “How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove that splinter from your eye,’ while the wooden beam is in your eye?”

No Protestant wants to see what the “wooden beam” is.  It is the blinding vanity that keeps them from seeing the need to obey Every Teaching of Jesus Christ.  Protestants build their “houses” on “wooden beams”!

~

Question 5.  “How does Jesus Christ identify willful Protestants?

Answer:   “You hypocrite, .  .  .”!

~

Question 6.  “What does Jesus Christ tell every willful Protestant, including disobedient Catholics?

His answer:  ” .  .  remove the wooden beam from your eye first;  then you will see clearly  to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye.”

~

May we all be blessed to remove every vanity that blinds us to the importance of building our “house” on Every Teaching of Jesus Christ!
