God’s Progress: Those who used to stone women began to stone Catholics.

Those driven to "stone someone" were glad to have Catholics replace women as their target.

Question 1:  “Do two Daily Catholic Readings connect Jewish scribes, Pharisees, elders, Judges, and the evils of adultery to the fact that Acts 4:4 reports that ‘5,000 men’ (and at least another 5,000 women and children) had become the world’s first Catholics in the months after Jesus was Crucified?”

Answer:  “Yesterday, January 6, 2025, the Daily Catholic Bible reading from John 8:1-11 told us that ‘scribes and Pharisees’ wanted to stone to death a woman ‘caught in the act of adultery’.  Today’s Reading, from Daniel 13:1-9, 15-17, 19-30, 33-62 tells us 500 years before that, during the Babylonian Captivity, ‘two Jewish elders who were to govern the people as judges’ desperately wanted to commit adultery with ‘Susanna, the beautiful, God-fearing daughter of Hiliah’.”

Question 2:  “Did God save both women from being stoned to death?”

Answer:  “God used Daniel to save Susanna by showing the sex-addicted ‘elders’ were lying.  The Jewish people acted obediently and,  ‘According to the  Law of Moses, they inflicted on them the penalty they had plotted to impose on their neighbor’ and they were put to death.’

500 years later, Jesus saved the woman in Jerusalem (John 8:1-11) from a mob of self-righteous Jewish men who wanted to ‘stone the woman caught in adultery’ while the man who was in that same ‘act of adultery’ was both free and unpunished for his sin.

Question 3:  “How did that bring ‘5,000 men’ and probably more than 5,000  women, to become Catholic in the months following The Crucifixion of Jesus?”

Answer:  “His Disciples, His Mother, and every Holy Woman who accompanied Jesus explained this obvious truth to the Truly Chosen People who loved God more than approval from sin-loving neighbors:

‘The Jerusalem Establishment has become corrupt.  It promotes the killing of adulterous women, ignores adulterous men, and insults God by bearing false witness every time its obedient supporters do so.  Do you want your wives, sisters, mothers, and daughters to be enslaved by their unfairness or will you support The Messiah who fulfilled over 300 Prophecies, and teaches us to love God, our neighbors, and to treat women fairly?’

~

Question 4:   “Did the Jerusalem Establishment’s inability to defend its murderous hypocrisy help Catholicism take root and spread rapidly among the most Jewish of the Jewish people in Jerusalem and every place the Disciples visited?”

Answer:  “From Abraham to Moses to Daniel to Jesus to Judgment Day, God’s Chosen People will be blessed to obey The Church-Creating Word Spoken by He Who Fulfilled the Prophecies to His First Catholic Pope:

‘And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.’
